Celebrating 35 years of musical excellence, Etobicoke Suzuki Music is a not-for-profit school with 110 violin viola and cello students through Bk 10. This strong program is growing and in need of new teachers. Suzuki Early Childhood Education, and extensive enrichment programs are a part of our curriculum. Duties: Private and group lessons for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. Possible chamber music coaching. Potential opportunities for leadership in artistic and/or administrative management in these positions. There are many free-lance playing opportunities in the city and surrounding communities.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters in music and SAA through book 6 registered. Minimum 5 years Suzuki teaching. We are looking for team players with a passion for working with children, a desire to continue lifelong learning, exceptional maturity and an ability to effectively communicate. Canadian citizenship preferred.
