Debbie is the director of the Hammond Suzuki Studio in Ottawa, and previously held faculty positions at the
Suzuki String School of Guelph (2007-2010) and the National Capital Suzuki School of Music (2010-2014). Debbie
also serves as guest clinician, chamber coach and adjudicator at festivals and workshops across Ontario.

Geneviève currently performs as principal cellist for the Cambridge Symphony and Waterloo Chamber Players, Quinten Quartet. She is a founding teacher and director at Suzuki Talent Education of

Violist and violinist Lauren Taylor is an emerging young musician from Ontario. She is an enthusiastic beginner
Suzuki violin and viola teacher, with extensive performance training in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings, as
well as with her band, Safe as Houses.

Susan is assistant manager as well as volunteer coordinator for the National Capitol Suzuki School in Ottawa.

Daniela has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the String Academy of Wisconsin, the Michigan
State University Community Music School, the Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School, Blue Lake
Fine Arts Camp and the International Youth Symphony Orchestra, and is currently teaching in St. Catharines.

Dr. Jennifer Martyn has taught with Etobicoke Suzuki Music in Toronto and was a founding faculty member of
Ottawa Suzuki Strings. In 2017 she was the strings adjudicator at the Brantford Kiwanis Music Festival in
Brantford, Ontario. Presently, Dr. Martyn teaches with the North York Suzuki School of Music.

Taryn has been teaching violin and viola since 2002, and has taught at The Brant Suzuki String School and the
Hamilton Suzuki School of Music before leaving to start the Twinkle Strings Suzuki School in 2017.

Janice moved to Ottawa in 2001 and completed her Bachelors in Music Performance under the tutelage of David
Stewart in 2003. She has been a soloist with the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra, plays in orchestra and
chamber music settings. She teaches with the National Capitol Suzuki School and at Canterbury HS.

George Cleland is conductor of the Brock University String Orchestra and the Peninsula Orchestra and plays
violin many orchestras across Southwestern Ontario. George has been viola coach and assistant conductor for
Niagara Youth Orchestra, and instructor for Suzuki Niagara, and on staff at Brock University since 2003.
MATTHEW GOULD

Dr. Matt Gould is Director of Guitar Studies at Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario Canada, and teaches with
the Sudbury Suzuki School a branch of the Sudbury Symphony Music Conservatory. Dr. Gould performs
internationally with Duo46 , the Strung Out Trio, and B.A.M.
