Starting in Fall 2023, the SAO newsletter will be transforming!
As part of the SAO Strategic Planning conversations, the Board has put together a plan to streamline the SAO newsletter format and make use of the enhanced features available to us in the new SAO website.
- The newsletter will now be published 8 times per year. This will allow upcoming events to be shared with the membership in a more timely fashion.
- SAO members are encouraged to:
- submit feature articles for publication.
- share news from their studios/programs. This will be shared through the SAO blog on the website home page.
- share upcoming events from their studios/programs that are open to the public on the SAO Community Calendar. (Click the Add Community Event link in the top right-hand corner to add your event!)
- Job postings and teaching positions will be posted on our Job Listings section of the website, and published in the subsequent Newsletter.
