Registration for the 2022 SAO Conference is now open! This is the first in person conference we have hosted since 2019. We hope you will join us in Kingston on Saturday, November 12 and Sunday, November 13. All conference events will be held in beautiful and historic downtown Kingston, just steps away from the shores of Lake Ontario. We hope this will be a weekend to inspire and rejuvenate students and teachers alike!
We are thrilled to announce Carrie Reuning-Hummel as our keynote speaker. On Saturday, November 12, Carrie will present a parent talk during the Student Day workshop titled “Deep Listening: Finding Beauty, Joy and Resiliency with our Children”. This presentation will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. On Sunday, November 13, Carrie will continue her discussions with teachers in her keynote address “Sparking A Renaissance”. This day will also include additional discussion sessions with inspiring facilitators, a catered lunch and the SAO Annual General Meeting.
This area of Kingston is full of great restaurants! Within a 10 minute walk from Chalmers United Church or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church there are many lunch options. For the most variety, head towards Princess Street.
